Job summary
Apex Companies, LLC is seeking a Drinking Water Treatment Process Engineer to support Northeast water projects. Based in MA or RI offices, you will design, optimize, and commission groundwater and surface water treatment facilities, booster stations, and upgrades, contributing from concept through startup.
You will work with a team to develop designs, reports, and calculations, while mentoring junior staff and engaging with clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of water treatment design experience.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT), PE License or pursuing PE registration.
- Valid US Driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to communicate effectively within project teams and with clients.
- CAD proficiency and technical report writing is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare memoranda, reports, calculations, and drawings for projects under supervision.
- Assist Project Manager with schedules and budgets on less complex projects.
- Coordinate with subconsultants under supervision of Senior Engineer/PM.
- Lead design tasks on small projects to deliver complete, coordinated outputs.
- Review calculations and concepts to ensure quality control.
- Contribute to proposals with scope, budgets, and schedules.
