Job summary

South College Pittsburgh Campus is seeking a Program Director for the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program. The role supports a hybrid-remote schedule with quarterly on-ground lab intensives at the Cranberry Township, PA campus. Relocation is not required but encouraged. 

The Program Director will provide leadership, develop a contemporary curriculum, ensure CAPTE accreditation, mentor faculty, and manage the program budget and resources to meet goals and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Earned terminal academic doctorate in a discipline appropriate for teaching responsibilities.
• At least 6 years of full-time higher education experience with a CAPTE-accredited entry-level program.
• Senior faculty rank (Associate Professor or higher) with leadership in physical therapy education.
• Knowledge of legislative, regulatory, legal, and CAPTE accreditation standards.
• Active in clinical practice and professional activities.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain CAPTE accreditation; coordinate compliance with standards.
• Coordinate timely submissions to accreditation bodies.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction for the DPT program.
• Mentor faculty and plan professional development.
• Plan and administer the DPT budget and resources.
