The University of Minnesota's Division of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science seeks a DPT Program Director to provide executive leadership for accreditation, governance, curriculum, and faculty development. This role drives strategic planning, budget oversight, and program expansion while maintaining alignment with the university's values.

The PD reports to the Division Director, leads core faculty and staff, and collaborates with stakeholders to advance student outcomes, licensure

Qualifications

• Earned academic doctoral degree from an accredited institution.
• Active PT license in a US jurisdiction and compliant with Minnesota requirements.
• Minimum 6 years of full-time higher education experience, including 3 years in a CAPTE-accredited DPT program.
• Proven leadership in administration, management, and curriculum development.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for accreditation, governance, and program oversight.
• Lead curriculum development and evaluation to ensure inclusive delivery and outcomes.
• Direct faculty workload, supervision, annual reviews, and promotion guidance.
• Drive strategic planning, budgeting, and expansion of the DPT program.
