Job summary

University of the Cumberlands invites applications for a core faculty member in the hybrid Doctor of Physical Therapy program. This 12-month, full-time, tenure-track position focuses on clinically-based, evidence-based instruction delivered online and in person.

The role includes curriculum development, student advisement, recruitment and retention, and service at multiple levels. The ideal candidate will teach neurologic coursework with possible responsibilities in cardiopulmonary and lifespan

Qualifications

• Interest in and ability to use online instructional technologies.
• Ability to travel for face-to-face teaching in on-campus orientation sessions and lab immersions.

Responsibilities

• Teach neurologic coursework with primary responsibility; contribute to curriculum development.
• Provide student advisement, recruitment and retention efforts.
• Deliver content online (asynchronous/synchronous) and in-person; participate in program events and service at multiple levels.
• Engage in program accreditation activities and scholarly activity.
