Job summary

Oklahoma Baptist University invites applications for a pool of adjunct faculty to support the accelerated hybrid DPT curriculum. Adjunct faculty primarily teach onsite with required travel to Shawnee for laboratory immersions, examinations, simulations, and other program activities.

This position is ideal for practicing clinicians who wish to maintain clinical practice while contributing to the education and professional formation of future physical therapists.

Qualifications

• DPT degree required.
• Current unrestricted PT license.
• Minimum one year of contemporary clinical practice.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to travel for laboratory immersions.
• Commitment to student success and collaborative teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses across the DPT curriculum (didactic, laboratory, clinical).
• Develop and review course syllabi and materials.
• Supervise adjuncts and coordinate teaching activities.
• Participate in course assessment, evaluation, and outcomes reporting.
• Advise and mentor students in academic and career development.
• Integrate faith with learning consistent with institutional mission.
• Support accreditation processes and program improvement.
