Job summary

Oklahoma Baptist University invites applications for adjunct faculty appointments in the new hybrid Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program. This 2-year accelerated program blends online and on-campus teaching, with lab-based courses requiring travel to the OBU campus in Shawnee, OK at various times.

The ideal candidate holds an ACOTE-accredited OT degree with current OK licensure (or eligibility), at least 3 years of clinical OT experience and 1 year teaching in higher education.

Qualifications

• ACOTE-accredited OT degree required.
• Current, valid non-restricted OT license or OK eligibility.
• Minimum 3 years clinical OT experience.
• Minimum 1 year teaching experience in OT or similar program in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Develop new courses for hybrid format.
• Lead in-person lab immersions and experiential learning aligned with curriculum.
• Participate in synchronous classroom sessions and office hours (2 hours/week).
• Potential capstone mentorship duties for Capstone Mentor only.
