Job summary

Astronics CSC, a Lake Zurich, IL-based unit of Astronics, seeks a CM Clerk to support documentation for LRUs and installation certification packages. The role requires processing and controlling BOMs, ECOs, and PLM/ERP data, coordinating with Production, Engineering, Quality and PM teams.

The ideal candidate will have at least a high school diploma, an associate degree, and one year of experience in a document control or manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in document control, engineering or manufacturing with controlled documents.
• Associates degree in engineering/technical or data management field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain product BOMs within ERP systems.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality and PM to research and resolve discrepancies.
• Process new part number requests and prepare ECOs within PLM system.
• Manage ECO creation, routing and release of development program artifacts.
• Control incoming reference data and ensure revisions are current.
• Assist in maintaining the STC database and FAA compliance (14 CFR 21.93, 21.95, 21.31).
• Transmit data to appropriate persons using customer-preferred methods.
• Compile worksheets outlining BOM changes per ECO or RMA and lead CCB meetings.
• Organize and maintain the Armstrong Aerospace Library, both physically and digitally.
