Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a litigation docket department.
• Proficient with CourtAlert or similar rules-based docket management software.
• Able to interpret and manage deadline-related information.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with attorneys and staff.
• Interest in leveraging AI tech such as Harvey and Copilot to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction on Federal, State, and local rules of procedure.
• Collaborate with docketing team on legal research and inquiries using internal tools.
• Stay informed on procedural best practices via team meetings and rule changes.
• Maintain updates of court rules and procedures with application support.
• Monitor court filings and extract critical dates, updating CourtAlert as needed.
• Record documents and deadlines in CourtAlert, calculating due dates.
• Request Intake Forms and open new cases in CourtAlert.
• Communicate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff on calendared events and updates.
• Support National Docket Manager with special projects and peer training.
