Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a District Planning Specialist in Fontana, CA to develop and design distribution facility plans, provide cost estimates, and coordinate resources across projects. Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in Electrical Utility Distribution/Transmission/Telecommunication Design, Distribution/Transmission/Telecommunication Line Construction, or Engineering discipline.
• Completion of a Planner Utility Certification Program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and prepares construction plans, drawings, and/or circuit maps with cost estimates and schedules; ensures design compliance with standards.
• Interacts with diverse customers to meet electrical design needs and deliver successful outcomes for customers and SCE.
• Manages multiple projects using project management principles under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
