Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Director of Hospital Revenue Reporting, Recognition, Reimbursement & Analytics for the 42nd Street location in a hybrid role. The candidate will lead revenue recognition governance, ASC 606 compliance, and net patient revenue reporting across hospital operations, partnering with Finance, Revenue Cycle, Reimbursement, and Compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Expert knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606.
• Experience with hospital revenue cycle, reimbursement analytics.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with financial forecasting and KPI development.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue recognition governance under U.S. GAAP and ASC 606.
• Oversee enterprise revenue reporting and disclosures.
• Develop standardized reporting definitions across the health system.
• Manage accounts receivable performance and cash realization.
• Partner with auditors during financial statement audits.
• Provide executive dashboards and analytics for decision making.
• Forecast revenue, cash flow, and long-range planning.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Managed Care, and Operations.
