Job summary

Disc Medicine is seeking a Director, Clinical Operations to lead global Phase 2/3 trials, manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams. This role partners with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high-quality clinical trial outcomes in a fast-paced biotech environment.

The position requires strong leadership, communication, and extensive trial management experience, with willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a relevant field is required.
• Approximately 10 years of trial management experience in biotech/pharma/CRO.
• Strong understanding of GCP, ICH, and global regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the execution of multiple global Phase 2/3 studies that align with enrollment objectives and timelines.
• Line management of trial managers and CTAs and provide expert counsel for issue resolution.
• Provide Clinical Operations leadership under the director of the Executive Director of Clinical Development Operations.
• Contribute to the Clinical Development Plan and operational strategy.
• Collaborate with Clinical Study Teams to develop and implement study plans.
• Oversee the overall execution of assigned clinical programs with focus on quality, budget and timelines.
• Oversee Strategic Partners and other vendors to meet Disc's objectives.
• Track KPIs for study milestones and communicate program status and issues to senior management.
• Assist in authoring key regulatory documents and ensure alignment with submissions.
• Work with medical, regulatory, data management, biostatistics, and medical affairs teams.
