Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent considered.
• Valid Connecticut Driver’s license with clean driving record is required.
• Certification as a Direct Support Professional preferred.
• Completion of certifications in CPR & First Aid, PMT required.
• Computer skills required to navigate agency electronic records.

Responsibilities

• Support the care of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Assist individuals in living independently and fostering community involvement.
• Provide face-to-face hands-on support for daily living activities.
• Engage individuals in medical and personal appointments.
