Job summary

Quality Packaging, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a motivated Kento Operator to set up, run, and monitor our hybrid digital and flexographic printing system. This role offers hands-on exposure to cutting-edge equipment and a chance to contribute to high-quality packaging production.

Qualifications

• Experience with digital printing or flexographic presses is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
• Interest in learning advanced hybrid printing technologies.
• Knowledge of print quality standards, color control, and registration.
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production specifications.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Kento hybrid digital/flexographic printing equipment according to job specifications.
• Monitor print quality, color consistency, and registration during production.
• Review schedules and customer specifications for accuracy.
• Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
• Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot print quality and mechanical issues with maintenance and leadership.
• Inspect finished materials for quality compliance.
• Track production metrics such as output, waste, downtime, and efficiency.
• Support press changeovers and material staging.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
