Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Digital Environmental Consultant to support environmental solution deployment for clients. The role emphasizes translating business challenges into data- and automation-driven solutions, collaborating with cross-functional engineering and digital teams to deliver compliant, innovative outcomes.

The ideal candidate has experience in environmental compliance, consulting, or related fields and is excited by AI advances, including LLMs and ML.

Qualifications

Relevant coursework, internships, co-ops, and/or 0-2 years of work experience in environmental compliance/auditing, software development/implementation, or consulting.
Experience with databases and configuration of off-the-shelf applications.
A willingness to learn cutting edge approaches to creation and application of AI solutions, including leveraging large-language models (LLMs), generative AI, and machine learning

Responsibilities

Configure and deploy software and data solutions to meet client needs across risk, compliance, production, and other operational processes within both Jacobs-developed and 3rd party platforms
Work with our partner software vendors to deliver client work, either with Jacobs as a prime consultant or as part of a partner-led implementation team
Design and develop the actual outputs using 3rd party and custom solutions that enable our clients to maintain compliance with internal and external requirements
Test your own work and review other team members’ work to ensure quality delivery.
Develop creative training resources and deliver training directly to client users to maximize user adoption
