Jacobs is hiring a Digital Environmental Consultant in a hybrid role based in the United States. The position supports environmental compliance and digital solutions deployment for clients, translating business challenges into data-driven, automated outcomes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering and digital teams to deliver high-quality solutions, with a focus on practical training and scalable implementations for regulatory and sustainability needs.

Qualifications

Relevant coursework, internships, co-ops, and/or 0-2 years of work experience in environmental compliance/auditing, software development/implementation, or consulting.
Experience with databases and configuration of off-the-shelf applications.
Willingness to learn cutting edge approaches to AI solutions, including LLMs, generative AI, and machine learning.

Responsibilities

Configure and deploy software and data solutions to meet client needs across risk, compliance, production, and other operational processes within Jacobs-developed and 3rd party platforms.
Work with our partner software vendors to deliver client work, either with Jacobs as a prime consultant or as part of a partner-led implementation team.
Design and develop the actual outputs using 3rd party and custom solutions that enable our clients to maintain compliance with internal and external requirements.
Test your own work and review other team members’ work to ensure quality delivery.
Develop creative training resources and deliver training directly to client users to maximize user adoption.
