Job summary

Jacobs in the United States seeks a Digital Environmental Consultant to support environmental solution deployment for clients, turning regulatory and sustainability challenges into data-driven, automated outputs. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver compliant, high‑quality results from inception to completion.

The role emphasizes problem‑solving, building scalable digital solutions, and providing guidance on AI-enabled approaches.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of work experience in environmental compliance/auditing, software development/implementation, or consulting.
• Experience with databases and configuration of off-the-shelf applications.
• Willingness to learn cutting edge approaches to AI solutions, including LLMs, generative AI, and ML.

Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy software and data solutions to meet client needs across risk, compliance, production, and other operational processes within Jacobs-developed and 3rd party platforms.
• Work with partner software vendors to deliver client work, either with Jacobs as a prime consultant or as part of a partner-led implementation team.
• Design and develop the actual outputs using 3rd party and custom solutions that enable clients to maintain compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Test your own work and review other team members’ work to ensure quality delivery.
• Develop creative training resources and deliver training directly to client users to maximize user adoption
