Job summary

WSP is seeking a Digital Engineer to join the Roads team in the UK, based in one of our offices (London/Cambridge/Basingstoke/Guildford/Southampton). The role supports highway and infrastructure projects, applying digital tools and data-driven design to improve delivery.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, develop reusable tools, and contribute to sustainable outcomes. The position offers hybrid working across offices, opportunities for professional growth, and exposure to complex

Qualifications

• Experience delivering highway and infrastructure design projects.
• Experience with data handling using MS Excel or similar.
• Knowledge of design standards such as DMRB, MfS, TSRGD and local authority guidance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multi-disciplinary highway and infrastructure solutions.
• Produce engineering outputs for work packages across projects.
• Apply digital automation and data-driven design using Python, C++, Dynamo.
• Develop reusable digital tools and templates to support delivery.
• Create data-driven workflows using Azure and Power Platform.
• Support BIM/CDE environments with ISO 19650 alignment.
