Canon USA in Melville, NY is seeking a Digital Asset Management Specialist to manage and optimize Adobe Experience Manager Assets to keep assets organized, searchable, and compliant across global channels.

The role is full-time with a hybrid schedule—in the office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with an option to work from home other days—supporting ingestion, metadata governance, rights management, and staff training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years managing an enterprise DAM, with AEM Assets experience.
• Strong knowledge of metadata standards and taxonomy design.
• Experience with governance, rights management, and asset workflows.
• Ability to train users and support stakeholders across teams.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement and maintain DAM taxonomy, metadata schemas and governance.
• Oversee asset ingestion from creative teams and partners.
• Enforce naming conventions, color profiles, and upload standards.
• Configure and maintain AEM asset review, approval, and activation workflows.
• Manage rights, licensing, embargoes and licensing expiration workflows.
• Train staff and partners on AEM Assets and brand portal usage.
