Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network seeks a Radiologic Technologist for a hybrid click-and-care role integrating front-desk administration, patient care, and diagnostic imaging.

You will support providers and clinical staff, assist with imaging procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort while maintaining high service standards. A TLS diploma plus ARRT and BLS within 30 days are required, with strong knowledge of EMR and PACS systems.

Qualifications

• Technical School Diploma graduate of accredited Radiologic Technologist program (AART).
• 2 years diagnostic imaging experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, radiation physics, and clinical workflows.
• Competency in EMR systems, radiology PACS software, scheduling platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Patient-centered communication and ability to explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and radiation safety guidelines.
• RT - Registered Technologist Radiology and BLS within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform patient check-in/check-out, verify insurance eligibility, collect payments, and schedule appointments.
• Measure and document patient data and ensure accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Assist providers with patient information collection and exam preparation.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensure sanitation and supply stocking, and operate imaging equipment.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain detailed procedure records.
• Maintain logs including quality control records and stat cart checks.
