Job summary

Peregrine Advisors is seeking a skilled DevSecOps/Platform Engineer to join our hybrid team serving federal clients from the Washington DC area. You will own secure CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker, Kubernetes clusters, and infrastructure as code in Terraform or CloudFormation, building reliable, auditable deployment paths.

You bring 4+ years in DevSecOps, a CS/IT/engineering degree, and hands-on experience with AWS-native tools, SAST/DAST/SCA security testing, and Python scripting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building security-gated CI/CD pipelines in AWS-native or similar tools.
• Experience standing up Kubernetes clusters and running them.
• Proficiency with containerization using Docker and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

• Create secure CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• Automate provisioning and releases with health checks and rollback.
• Implement security controls (SAST, DAST, SCA) and vulnerability management.
• Collaborate across teams to improve reliability and auditability of deployments.
