Job summary

Piper Companies in the Raleigh-Durham area is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join a world-leading technology organization. This hybrid role requires three days onsite and focuses on remediation of security vulnerabilities across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in DevSecOps or cybersecurity, hands-on AWS and Kubernetes (EKS), strong RBAC knowledge, and proven vulnerability remediation experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in DevSecOps or cybersecurity.
• Hands-on AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) experience.
• Strong RBAC knowledge and secure system design.
• Experience remediating vulnerabilities across applications and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Implement security practices within AWS and EKS, including RBAC configurations.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze vulnerability scan results and prioritize remediation by criticality.
• Improve security posture through automation, monitoring, and process improvements.
