Job summary

OpenTalent is hiring a Full Time DevOps Support professional for a hybrid Toronto role focused on deployments, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, production support, monitoring, automation, and troubleshooting to drive reliability and operational excellence.

You will support development and operations teams, manage production deployments across OpenStack, Cloudify, AWS, Azure, Bluemix, and Google Cloud, and create robust automation, scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell, YAML), and runbooks to

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps/production support (or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficient in Bash, Python, PowerShell, and YAML scripting.
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Azure services and cloud fundamentals.
• Experience with OpenStack and Cloudify preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Support application deployments, releases, and production implementations.
• Monitor application, server, and infrastructure health.
• Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis to reduce MTTR.
• Automate operational tasks, validation checks, and routine support activities.
• Provide DevTools and CI/CD pipeline support to development and operations teams.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and release management teams.
• Maintain operational documentation and onboarding materials.
• Support monitoring, patching, and platform maintenance.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Troubleshoot cloud VMs across OpenStack, Cloudify, AWS, Azure, Bluemix, and Google Cloud.
• Support cloud provisioning automation and scripting.
• Deliver changes across development, test, and production environments.
