Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Manhattan to manage full lifecycle of OSs, apps, and automation. The role supports production and non-production J2EE environments, coordinates fixes, and designs infrastructure with development teams.

You will drive deployment automation, manage pipelines, and mentor teams on CM and build processes. Experience across AWS, scripting, and CI/CD is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS and multi-environment deployments.
• Strong scripting skills and automation mindset.
• Hands-on CI/CD implementation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in full lifecycle of operating systems and app software.
• Support production and non-production J2EE environments.
• Coordinate break fixes in production and non-prod stacks.
• Architect infrastructure for new applications with dev teams.
• Define timelines with Project Managers and track tasks.
• Ensure vendor/internal deliverables meet requirements.
• Provide production management input to new builds.
• Support QA during testing by monitoring servers.
• Prepare deployment information for teams and executives.
• Develop deployment templates for automation tools like Chef/Ansible.
• Write scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Manage operational readiness testing and statuses.
