Job summary

Fortior Solutions, Hillsboro, OR, seeks a DevOps/QA Engineer to ensure reliable environments and robust CI/CD pipelines. You will maintain on-prem and cloud infrastructure, collaborate with software engineers on test automation, and uphold security standards. A strong DevOps/QA background, cloud experience, and scripting skills are essential.

The role is onsite/hybrid, requiring 1–2 days in the office with ad-hoc in-person interview availability; US citizenship is required for federal contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in DevOps or a related field.
• 2+ years in a Test Automation role.
• Experience building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines, with infrastructure as code and cloud.
• Proficiency with PowerShell and C#.
• Experience with Azure and containerized deployments.
• Familiarity with Git/Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, SonarQube.
• Strong networking and security fundamentals.
• Experience with QA/Ops practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain infrastructure for high availability, performance, and security.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Ensure infrastructure follows security best practices.
• Support release management, deployment, and production health monitoring.
• Optimize automated test infrastructure coverage and responsiveness.
• Contribute to testing efforts and product delivery pipeline visibility.
• Collaborate across design, development, and QA teams throughout the lifecycle.
