Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Charlotte, NC for a hybrid role focused on supporting Harness adoption, onboarding, and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with enterprise platform teams to resolve technical issues and drive deployment automation.

The role requires hands-on experience with Harness, Ansible, Bitbucket, JFrog Artifactory, and OpenShift, along with strong Linux and scripting skills. This contract position offers remote/onsite flexibility in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Harness and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience supporting application teams with Harness adoption, integration, and deployments.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Bitbucket, JFrog Artifactory, and OpenShift.
• Strong Linux and shell scripting skills.
• Experience with YAML, configuration management, and deployment troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise application releases and deployments.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Harness adoption and onboarding aligned with enterprise standards.
• Address prerequisites, dependencies, and issues with enterprise platforms.
• Configure, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines using Harness, Ansible, Bitbucket, and JFrog Artifactory.
• Develop deployment automation and onboarding for applications.
• Create YAML configurations, Ansible playbooks, and shell scripts.
• Design, implement, and support OpenShift environments for deployment and scaling.
• Troubleshoot pipeline, deployment, and integration issues.
• Support production releases, including post-release activities.
• Standardize configurations and deployment processes.
• Perform proofs of concept for new DevOps tools.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual activities and improve reliability.
