Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a mid-level DevOps Engineer for a hybrid contract‑to‑hire role in Tampa, FL. You will design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on GCP and Azure DevOps, to enable reliable software delivery.

You should have about 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or SRE, strong scripting skills, and a passion for automation and reliability in multi-cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE
• Hands-on experience with GCP services
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform) and Git-based workflows

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps
• Manage cloud infrastructure in GCP and multi‑cloud environments
• Automate provisioning using IaC tools such as Terraform
• Support containerized apps with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot production issues, and improve reliability
• Implement security across the DevOps lifecycle
• Participate in on‑call rotations and incident response
