Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare seeks a Developmental Disabilities Professional (DDP) to provide clinical, programmatic, and quality oversight for I/DD services. The role ensures person-centered care, DBHDD compliance, and alignment with ISP goals, with regular interaction across participants, staff, and partners.

The position is hybrid (work from home with regional travel) and requires a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years’ relevant experience, and DBHDD registrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Special Education, Nursing, or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) or related populations.
• Must meet all DBHDD requirements to serve as a Developmental Disabilities Professional (DDP).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must complete and maintain all DBHDD-required DDP registrations and certifications.
• Complete required first-year DDP training, including Person-Centered ISP, SIS Overview, and HRST training.
• Complete a minimum of eight (8) hours of annual developmental disability-specific continuing education.
• Demonstrates sound decision-making and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and consultation for services and supports funded by waivers.
• Ensure services align with DBHDD requirements and person-centered practices.
• Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities.
• Assess risks and recommend strategies to improve health and safety.
• Develop, review, and implement ISPs and related service plans.
• Schedule and participate in pre-ISP meetings and interdisciplinary planning.
• Monitor participant progress and adjust services as needed.
• Review assessments to support planning and delivery.
• Oversee behavior support plans, crisis plans, and high-intensity supports when applicable.
• Collaborate with participants, families, guardians, providers, and staff to ensure coordinated delivery.
• Maintain compliant documentation of contacts, assessments, and meetings.
• Support corrective action and regulatory reviews.
