Job summary

Carmel Youth Assistance Program (CYAP) is seeking a relationship-centered advancement professional to strengthen fundraising efforts for Carmel youth and families. This independent contractor role emphasizes ownership from idea to execution in a collaborative office environment.

The position is hybrid, with two days in the Carmel office weekly and occasional attendance at donor events. Compensation ranges from $55,000 to $60,000 per year on a 1099 contract basis.

Qualifications

• Experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, donor relations, sponsorships, grant work, or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and qualify prospective donors, corporate sponsors, and family foundations.
• Create and execute an annual development plan and collaborate with CYAP staff and board committees.
• Coordinate outreach, prepare materials, and move next steps with donors and sponsors.
• Develop partnerships, manage sponsor communications, and support engagement across programs and events.
• Maintain donor records, document interactions, and produce progress reports.
