Job summary

Baylor University recruits for a Development Officer Support role within the University Advancement. The successful candidate will assist development officers with prospect management, meetings, and donor communications in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• This position requires strong administrative and organizational abilities.
• A bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience are preferred.
• Hybrid work arrangement may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support and provide administrative management to Development Officers with all Vision items and reports.
• Participate in solicitation meetings and follow ups.
• Create gift transmittals for cash, stock and wire transfers and ensure correct account tagging.
• Develop communications and presentations; plan and execute internal and external meetings.
• Provide concierge-level donor support to ensure exceptional donor experiences.
• Assist in obtaining gift agreements and researching past documentation; submit HelpDesk tickets.
• Assist Development Officers with travel arrangements and itineraries.
• Process expense reports after travel as needed.
• Coordinate day-to-day division functions with senior administrative staff; back up coordinator team.
• Build relationships with campus partners for fundraising collaboration.
• Serve as fundraising liaison between University Advancement and campus partners.
