Kniesel’s Collision is seeking an Automotive Detailer / Lot Porter in Loomis, CA. This role blends vehicle detailing with lot support to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality presentation of repaired vehicles.

The ideal candidate has a passion for cars, is dependable, and eager to learn the collision repair process. No prior repair experience required, training may be provided along the Kniesel’s Apprentice Program pathway.

DOEPosition SummaryKniesel’s Collision is seeking a dependable, motivated, and hardworking Automotive Detailer / Lot Porter to support our collision repair team.This hybrid position combines vehicle detailing with lot and shop support responsibilities. Someone who demonstrates initiative, reliability, attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a desire to learn may have the opportunity to pursue the next step toward becoming a skilled collision repair professional.Key ResponsibilitiesVehicle Detailing & Delivery Preparation• Prepare repaired vehicles for customer delivery by thoroughly cleaning and detailing interiors and exteriors, ensuring each vehicle reflects Kniesel’s commitment to quality and WOW Customer Service.• Help ensure completed vehicles are clean, presentable, and ready for customer delivery.• Conduct final visual inspections and identify dirt, blemishes, or other concerns requiring attention before delivery.• Remove protective coverings and assist with final vehicle preparation.Vehicle Movement & Lot Organization• Safely move customer and company vehicles throughout the lot and facility.• Park, stage, and organize vehicles to support an efficient production flow.• Transport vehicles between repair areas, detail areas, delivery areas, and other designated locations.• Maintain an orderly lot and keep drive lanes and vehicle staging areas clear.Shop & Production Support• Assist technicians, estimators, and management with vehicle movement and other production-support needs.• As directed, assist repair technicians with basic vehicle preparation activities such as masking, taping, sanding, or other entry-level shop tasks.• Maintain clean and organized work areas and properly care for detailing tools and equipment.• Monitor detailing supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.• Assist with light facility cleanup, debris removal, and maintaining a professional shop environment.• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager or General Manager.What We’re Looking ForYou do not need to be an experienced collision repair technician to get started.
