Qualifications

• Entry level position; desire to learn and work in a technical field.
• Prior experience in construction, utility, or pipeline industry preferred.
• Knowledge of Computer Aided Design or GIS Design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meets and exceeds established productivity and quality targets.
• Communicates professionally and clearly with clients and stakeholders.
• Identifies information to be communicated to client and project managers.
• Completes design tasks for utility design projects including design, drafting, calculations, easement validation, cost estimating and permit package development.
• Manages multiple tasks to ensure timely completion and high customer satisfaction.
• Updates client records with new data daily and checks for errors.
• Coordinates projects to meet client needs and deadlines.
• Learns and applies safety rules, design standards, and governing regulations.
• Self-checks work and participates in peer and QC reviews.
