Gordon Reese Design Build seeks a Design & Project Consultant to own clients from first call through design hand-off in Walnut Creek, CA. This hybrid role blends design leadership with client interaction, guiding prospects into signed design agreements and delivering concept designs, material selections, and permit-ready plans in Chief Architect.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in residential design or high-end remodeling.
• Bachelor's or equivalent in Interior/Architectural Design required.
• Portfolio showing residential remodeling and drafting skills.

Responsibilities

• Feasibility studies and in-home consultations.
• Develop conceptual designs, space plans, and 3D walkthroughs in Chief Architect.
• Manage complete material selections down to the finest details.
• Produce code-compliant plan sets for permitting.
• Procure all materials, fixtures, and finishes with budget alignment.
• Lead structured hand-offs to estimation, production, and field teams.
• Represent Gordon Reese Design Build at remodeling seminars and client meetings.
