Job summary

Stop & Shop is seeking a Demand Planning Analyst to collaborate with the Merchandising leadership team and drive a consumer-centric forecasting approach using the F&R System. You will develop and maintain forecasting capabilities, analyze drivers of variances, and align forecasts with inventory targets and banner strategies.

You will partner with Forecasting & Replenishment, Supply Chain, and Category teams, oversee system enhancements, and ensure 24/7 on-call support for critical demand

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Category Management or related operations.
• Proficiency with data analysis and MS Office.
• Experience with cloud-based forecasting systems preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the F&R System forecasting capabilities.
• Collaborate with Forecasting & Replenishment and other teams to translate product knowledge into system actions.
• Coordinate and lead growth projects and system enhancements.
• Partner with merchandising, distribution, and retail to ensure forecast visibility and inventory targets.
• Perform root cause analyses on forecast variances and implement corrective actions.
• Support new items, store events, and promotional planning in F&R.
• Maintain a 24/7 on-call rotation for demand planning activities.
• Communicate findings and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
