Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Demand Planning Specialist to plan, schedule and coordinate demand/supply management, aligning with company policy and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on short-term forecasting (≤6 months) and works with cross-functional teams to execute business strategies and optimize inventory and logistics.

The position emphasizes strong analytical skills, experience with SAP/IBP/o9 is a plus, and effective communication in English.

Qualifications

• First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
• Typically 4-6 years of experience in a supply chain function, preferably Demand Planning.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make deliver).
• Very strong analytical and data modeling skills.
• Very strong communication and influencing skills; mastery in English and local language.
• Experience in o9, SAP, IBP is nice to have.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), statistical analysis.
• Forecasting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages a broad range of moderately complex supply chain processes, such as inventory analysis and planning, demand management, logistics management, and import/export operations.
• Forecasts product sales and manages big orders expected.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and develops recommendations.
• Gathers demand data from country, region and account managers to synthesize information and deliver demand signals to the supply base.
• Coordinates or leads regional and global planning teams to maintain current processes.
• Reviews performance metrics and identifies opportunities for improvement.
• Contributes to priority projects with complex analyses and assists in developing recommendations.
• Communicates requirements to regional and global planning teams.
• Mentors junior staff.
• Coordinates, develops, and manages a Regulatory Trade Compliance program.
