Job summary

QPWB in Georgia is seeking an experienced attorney to join our defense litigation and financial services practice. The role blends civil defense work with creditor rights and default servicing matters, with about 70% of time on defense litigation and 30% on financial services.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of litigation experience, active Georgia Bar membership, strong writing and research skills, and the ability to manage a busy caseload while delivering excellent client service.

Qualifications

• Active membership in the Georgia Bar.
• 3+ years of litigation experience required.
• Experience with financial services, foreclosure, bankruptcy, creditor rights, eviction, or replevin matters strongly preferred.
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Deposition and courtroom experience preferred.
• Ability to independently manage a busy caseload while maintaining excellent client service.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation from inception through resolution.
• Draft and argue motions, conduct legal research, and prepare pleadings.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Review loan documents, title issues, and compliance matters.
• Represent lenders, servicers, and financial institutions in eviction, replevin, and creditor rights disputes.
• Collaborate with partners to develop effective litigation strategies.
