Qualifications

5+ years in government contracts or price/cost analysis in aerospace/defense.
Working knowledge of FAR Part 12, FAR Part 15, FAR 2.101 definitions, TINA thresholds, and DFARS 212 commerciality requirements.
Experience with

commerciality assertions and supporting evidence packages.

Responsibilities

Receive and triage supplier commerciality assertions; validate against FAR criteria before work begins.
Drive supplier interface—request data such as commercial invoices, catalog/price lists, and sales history; establish market evidence.
Conduct independent market research to confirm a customary commercial market exists.
Build the price analysis: adjust history for form/fit/function differences and document fair and reasonable pricing.
Assemble the complete determination package — technical assessment, market evidence, price justification, and narrative.
Maintain traceability and audit-ready documentation for DCMA/DCAA reviews.
Report backlog status, cycle time, and supplier responsiveness; flag risks early.
