Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Senior Database Engineer to lead and support Oracle GoldenGate replication across Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Db2 LUW, and more in a hybrid environment including Raleigh, Morristown, Dallas, and Phoenix.

You will manage GoldenGate Microservices, monitor replication health, perform patching and upgrades, ensure security and compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable data replication across enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Database Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of Database Engineering experience (or 8+ years with HS diploma).
• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate 19c/21c/23ai and related replication tools.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, maintain, and support Oracle GoldenGate replication across Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and IBM Db2 LUW databases.
• Manage Oracle GoldenGate Microservices Architecture components (Service Manager, Administration Server, Distribution Server, Receiver Server, and Performance Metrics Server).
• Monitor replication health, performance, and throughput; resolve lag and data discrepancies.
• Perform patching, upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management for GoldenGate environments across dev/test/UAT/production.
• Configure Oracle GoldenGate Veridata for data validation and post-migration checks.
