Job summary

MethodHub is seeking a skilled Database Infrastructure Engineer to design, maintain, and optimize core database environments. You will automate routine maintenance, schedule management, and scale infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and peak performance.

Responsibilities include designing Azure and Windows server configurations, building automated DB jobs (ETL), and implementing robust DR strategies. A strong background in scripting (PowerShell, SSIS) and CI/CD, plus PowerApps/Power BI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 7+ years managing enterprise database systems (MS SQL Server, Windows Server, Azure).
• 7+ years of scripting with PowerShell and SSIS for automation.
• Solid understanding of storage, networks, and Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Strong problem solving under production pressure.
• Certifications in database tech (Azure DBA, etc.).
• 7 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and .NET apps.
• 7 years of experience with PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure management: design, configure, provision, and manage Azure-based and Windows server environments.
• Automated job management: develop and monitor automated database jobs, maintenance tasks, and ETL workflows.
• Scripting & automation: write robust scripts to automate DBA tasks, deployments, backups and health checks.
• Performance tuning: monitor performance, optimize queries, and manage indexing strategies.
• High availability & DR: maintain DR strategies and perform failover testing; provide 24/7 support as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams: support app development and data integration, IIS admin, and security/performance best practices.
