State Street Corporation seeks a Senior Data Security Architect to design, review, and govern security architectures protecting data across cloud, on-premises, SaaS, analytics, and hybrid environments. You will collaborate with data engineering, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business teams to embed data protection controls throughout the lifecycle.

Formación

• 13+ years in data security or security architecture roles with strong hands-on cybersecurity background.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale data protection and security architectures in global environments.
• Expertise in data classification, encryption, tokenization, masking, privacy controls, and governance.
• Cloud data platforms across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, with data lake/warehouse exposure.
• Familiarity with privacy regulations and security frameworks for highly regulated industries.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CDPSE, CIPP, SABSA, TOGAF and cloud security specialties.

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain enterprise data security architectures, standards, and reference patterns across cloud, on-prem, SaaS, analytics, and hybrid environments.
• Define security requirements and architecture controls for data classification, encryption, tokenization, masking, privacy, retention, and key management.
• Conduct security architecture reviews for data lakes, data warehouses, analytics platforms, cloud data services, and large-scale ecosystems.
• Partner with engineering, cloud, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to embed security controls into data platforms and services.
• Define cryptographic architecture requirements including KMS, HSMs, secrets management, and certificate lifecycle management.
• Assess data security risks and develop mitigation aligned with policies and regulatory needs.
• Provide SME on data protection technologies and enterprise data governance.
• Evaluate emerging data security technologies and industry trends for future-state architectures.
