Job summary

European Wax Center, Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist to empower Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Development with data-driven insights. The role combines hands-on coding in SQL and Python with building models and BI dashboards in Power BI and other tools.

You will work with Snowflake, dbt, and modern analytics methods to describe what happened, predict what will happen, and prescribe actions. Strong communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science or related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience in data science, data analytics, or business analytics with hands-on SQL/Python and applied statistical/ML modeling.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake or similar) and BI tools (Power BI or similar).
• Experience supporting cross-functional business stakeholders (finance, operations, or marketing analytics) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write SQL and Python to build datasets and pipelines in Snowflake.
• Build descriptive analytics via dashboards and KPI frameworks for self-serve reporting.
• Develop predictive models and time series forecasting to inform business decisions.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to surface trends and root causes in performance.
• Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
