Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Data Science internship in New York, NY for 10.5 weeks, May 24–Aug 4, 2027. This hybrid program requires three in‑office days per week with two remote days, and relocation assistance for distances over 50 miles.

You will work with the Analytics & Behavior Change team, applying statistics and machine learning to real problems, build models, run experiments, and present insights to business partners.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Health Data Science, Operations Research or related field.
• Strong foundation in statistics and data analysis concepts.
• Familiarity with Python or R and SQL is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze structured data to uncover patterns and insights.
• Build, test, and evaluate predictive models and ML algorithms.
• Design experiments and analyze results to inform business decisions.
• Create visualizations and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support decision-making with data-driven recommendations.
