Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Data Engineering Internship in New York, NY, with a hybrid work model. The 10.5-week program runs May 24, 2027 through August 4, 2027, paying $42 per hour for a 40-hour week. Relocation assistance is provided for distances beyond 50 miles.

You will work with the Analytics & Behavior Change team to build data pipelines, learn data integration, and apply AI tools to real health-care problems. This paid internship includes mentorship and leadership insights.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Experience with Python to process, transform, and automate data workflows.
• Experience with SQL to query and analyze data.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain data pipelines that extract, transform, and load data.
• Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources and systems.
• Implement data quality checks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Develop and deploy data solutions in cloud environments.
• Contribute to solutions that improve health care quality, affordability, and outcomes.
