Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Data Engineering Intern for a 10.5‑week program in New York, NY. The hybrid role combines in-office collaboration three days a week with two remote days, offering hands‑on experience building data pipelines and applying analytics to health care challenges.

You'll work with experienced data engineers and data scientists, gain exposure to cloud environments, and develop skills in data integration, quality checks, and AI tools.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a master’s degree in a related field (CS/Engineering/Data Engineering).
• Experience using Python to process and automate data workflows.
• Experience using SQL to query and analyze data.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain data pipelines for analytics.
• Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and deploy data solutions in cloud environments.
• Contribute to solutions that improve health care quality and outcomes.
