Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is seeking a Data Management Specialist to serve as the business SME for supervisory data, ensuring reliability and consistency to empower analytics and decision-making. You will develop data quality rules, monitor data health, and collaborate with CDP, CEP, and IT teams to enable scalable data solutions and future AI use cases.

The role emphasizes data governance and can include hybrid work arrangements to balance office collaboration with remote work

Qualifications

Experience in organizing and governing large data sets.
Ability to translate data needs into technical requirements.
Strong communication with non-technical partners.

Responsibilities

Serve as a key business subject matter expert for supervisory data, ensuring it is reliable, accurate, complete, and consistent to support business intelligence, downstream decision-making, and review of supervisory findings.
Define and implement data quality rules, metrics, and monitoring processes for supervisory data, establishing sustainable practices for issue identification, triage, and resolution.
Develop deep subject matter expertise in S&R examination data and processes to inform data quality standards and support the positioning of supervisory data for future AI use cases.
Partner with S&R stakeholders, CDP, CEP, and SystemIT teams to establish scalable data management solutions and support models that reduce risk and increase efficiency over time, including metadata/data cataloging initiatives, business data taxonomies, and broader data quality frameworks.
