Job summary

MongoDB’s Internal Data team powers data-informed decisions across finance, product, and operations. You will own the end-to-end product vision for financial data products, building pipelines, dashboards, and APIs while partnering with Finance to translate strategy into concrete data requirements.

You will lead cross-functional squads, champion data trust, and drive agile delivery, adoption, and governance, including SOX compliance. This hybrid role offers collaboration across multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• Drive end-to-end product vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products.
• Partner with Finance leadership to translate unformed business problems into data requirements.
• Lead cross-functional squads to design, build, and deploy pipelines, datasets, dashboards, and APIs.
• Advocate for the voice of the data consumer and audit workflows to enforce data trust.
• Prioritize the product backlog and manage agile delivery across teams.
• Own the data lifecycle from deployment to adoption and document technical processes.
• Experience with ERPs and core finance systems and knowledge of SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

• Drive the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and roadmap for critical data products that power company-wide financial planning, forecasting, spend efficiency, and operational rigor
• Navigate ambiguity and shape requirements by partnering with Finance leadership to unpack complex business problems and translate strategies into data requirements
• Lead cross-functional squads to design, build, and deploy robust pipelines, datasets, dashboards, APIs, and frameworks
• Act as the advocate for the voice of the data consumer by auditing user workflows and enforcing data trust
• Ruthlessly prioritize the product backlog and direct agile delivery from sprint planning through release
• Establish and track aggressive success metrics focused on product adoption and data accuracy
• Own the data lifecycle from deployment to adoption and drive organizational change management
