McLane Company, Inc. seeks a senior Data Platform Lead to design, deliver, and operate enterprise-scale data platforms powering analytics, AI, and decision-making across planning, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics. You will own data lakehouse architectures and governance.

You will guide the data engineering lifecycle, orchestrate ELT/ETL pipelines, and drive cost efficiency while ensuring security and regulatory compliance. Hybrid role located near Temple, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Three+ years in data engineering or closely related roles, with three+ years leading engineers or technical programs at enterprise scale.
• Proven delivery of cloud data platforms supporting analytics and operational workloads in complex environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise with SQL, Python or Scala, and CI/CD & IaC for data platforms (e.g., Terraform, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Experience implementing data governance, security, lineage, and quality frameworks.
• Practical supply chain domain fluency across two or more areas (planning, inventory, logistics, manufacturing, procurement).
• Exposure to ML feature stores, MLflow, and production ML/GenAI enablement.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and develop a high performing data engineering organization.
• Own the architecture and roadmap for cloud data lake, lakehouse, and warehouse platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse).
• Establish scalable patterns for ELT/ETL pipelines and data modeling.
• Deliver domain oriented data products with clear ownership and SLAs/SLOs.
• Enable analytics and AI use cases across demand and supply planning, inventory optimization, and fulfillment.
• Partner with Analytics and Data Science teams to deliver feature pipelines and production inference data.
