Job summary

Aegon Asset Management is seeking an Intermediate Data Operations Analyst to ensure data quality across Security, Analytics, Benchmarks and Pricing for daily and monthly processes. You will collaborate with Portfolio Management, Trading, Operations, IT, and Risk Management to support customer needs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field and 3+ years in financial services or technical analysis, with strong Excel skills.

• 3+ years of experience in financial services or technical analysis.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to anticipate and address customer needs to ensure positive outcomes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to communicate professionally with internal and external parties.
• Ability to break down concepts and determine solutions.
• Understand data flows for pricing, security master, analytics and downstream/upstream impacts.
• High proficiency with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Understand Data Operations functions and their impact on downstream processes, infrastructure, and clients.
• Oversee service delivery from Third Party Service Providers.
• Complete assigned data tasks and support team members as needed.
• Apply critical thinking and asset knowledge to data domains to support daily/monthly processes.
• Perform business analysis to determine best practices in daily production/projects.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance data quality and customer service.
• Maintain high daily production and project standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and internal customers.
• Create and manage daily hand-off between Data Operations processes for Global requirements.
• Ensure Data Operations processes align with KPIs and metrics.
