Job summary

Women's Business Development Council (WBDC) seeks a full-time Impact Specialist to support data collection and measurement of impact in the small business sector across Connecticut. Hybrid work with in-office presence 2 days a week in Waterbury; travel to Stamford, Hartford, and New London may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of office work experience and undergraduate degree; coursework in statistics, data management, data analytics or program evaluation preferred.
• Keen attention to detail, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with database/CRM systems is a strong plus.
• Team player with mission focus and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support collection and communication of economic impact data, ensuring data integrity and reporting.
• Input and organize client services data, maintaining confidentiality of records.
• Manage client database/CRM systems and perform database clean-up and upkeep.
• Retrieve data to inform program development, client engagement, and partnerships.
• Assist with data reporting and compliance for grants and measure programs against goals.
• Develop, implement, and analyze surveys; clean results to support analysis.
• Present data trends to staff to foster a data-driven culture.
• Oversee client intake process and engage clients to collect impact data and testimonials.
• Train staff in using the client database.
