Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• External client-facing experience.
• Strong experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS).
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data quality best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into data architecture solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Client Partnership: Serve as primary technical point of contact for assigned clients, building trust throughout the engagement.
• Technical Consultation: Work with clients to understand data requirements, workflows, and challenges, and translate into practical solutions.
• Client Communication: Explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Database Design & Management: Develop and maintain databases, data warehouses, and other data storage solutions.
• Data Pipeline and ETL/ELT Processes: Design, build, and deploy robust ETL/ELT pipelines and staging transformations.
• Data Quality & Governance: Ensure high data quality and availability through monitoring, testing, and validation.
• Collaboration: Work with data integration engineers, analysts, and software engineers to meet data needs.
• Data Security & Compliance: Ensure data solutions comply with GDPR, HIPAA, and related regulations.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and improve performance of data systems.
