Job summary

Ovivo is seeking a Data Engineer for a hybrid role based in Round Rock, TX or Salt Lake City, UT, with Austin as an alternative location. You will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, build scalable data infrastructure, and work within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem to support marketing insights and business decisions.

Qualifications

BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field or equivalent experience
2+ years experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
3+ years of software and/or data products development with Python
Strong skills in algorithms, data structures, design and software architecture
3+ years of SQL, relational databases and relational concepts
Experience in Microsoft/Azure ecosystem including Fabric and Medallion/Star Schema
DP-600 or DP-700 Certification is a strong plus
Ability to adapt to evolving requirements
Proven track record delivering scalable data solutions

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools from multiple sources
Build and optimize scalable data infrastructure for marketing and business needs
Work within Microsoft Fabric ecosystem to build high-performance data models and workflows
Develop and manage caches to improve data access for marketing tools
Design data models supporting audience segmentation and personalized marketing
Transform and clean data for marketing analytics, dashboards, and reporting
Maintain ETL/ELT pipelines across systems like CRM and marketing tools
Collaborate with marketing and analytics teams to translate data needs into insights
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines for reliable, timely delivery
